Minister To Youth and Children

Reverend Alcris Limongi began at Parkdale in July 2017 as the new Minister of Pastoral Care. She is firmly committed to bringing a spiritual dimension to pastoral care situations, including prayer and reading of scriptures. She brings a wealth of experience having served as the associate pastor for the Latino community at Millbrook United Methodist Church in Raleigh, North Carolina. She also recently worked as the Racial Justice, Gender Justice and Sexual Minorities Program Coordinator at the General Council Offices of the United Church of Canada.      More …..

Don joined Parkdale’s team in March 2012.
Don’s primary role at Parkdale includes a wide range of office management responsibilities such as: meeting the administrative needs of the ministerial staff and the church; managing the booking of space in the building and maintaining the master calendar of bookings; coordinating evening custodians' schedules; and serving as liaison between Trustees and groups using church facilities.

Norman Reid is Parkdale’s new Property Custodian, succeeding Khan Chao who retired at the end of 2016.
Norman officially assumed his new duties on Sunday, September 11, 2016.
Since immigrating to Canada from his native Jamaica in February 1991, Norman has been employed with a number of local companies engaged in janitorial and building maintenance services in the National Capital area. He also has five years of experience in the food industry as a restaurant cook. Norman has a daughter Shandice (7) and son Tyreeke (9), who live at home in Ottawa with him and his wife Sheryl Jones-Reid. He also has two children Tryreese Reid (13) and Sherise Reid (18), with his first wife Evva, who is deceased.
Norman says he is looking forward to the challenge of a new job and taking on new responsibilities, and getting to know members of the Parkdale family. "I have heard many good things about this church, and how welcoming the members are," he says.
