Faith Formation - Adults

Tuesday Morning Bible Study

Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. in the Ladies’ Parlour.

Please join us for an engaging bible study where we’ll spend a month or 6 weeks exploring a topic or related book more deeply. Please watch the announcements and News & Events page for the most recent details or contact alcris@parkdaleunitedchurch.ca

Wednesday Evening Study Group

We will explore ways of encountering and understanding God, Jesus, the Spirit, the Bible, spiritual practices, membership in a local congregation and issues of justice and witness. All are welcome, including those who are seeking to become a formal member of Parkdale United Church.

Please join this spiritual direction covenant group where we’ll experience the power of listening and sharing our stories as a way of supporting each other to grow on our awareness of God in all of life. Please watch the announcements and events page for the most recent study group details or contact alcris@parkdaleunitedchurch.ca

Fellowship – Adults

Parkdale Men’s Group

The Parkdale Men’s Group provides an opportunity for fellowship, discussion, and Christian enrichment among the men of the congregation. We also seek to serve the broader congregation and community in whatever ways are available to us. Please watch the announcements and events page for the most recent study group details or contact contact John Butcher or the church office.

The most recent gathering was a breakfast on November, 10th where Dr. Ed Ellis, a Parkdale member spoke. Building on his long career in public health in Canada and Africa, Ed will discuss “The SARS Epidemic; Crisis and Response”.

Book Club

Everyone welcome—come join us after church as we discuss the book that has been chosen for that month. We meet in the Ladies’ Parlour after the church service (bring a lunch) for approximately 1 ½ hours. Hope to see you there!
