Ottawa School of Theology and Spirituality – 2024 Courses
The current sponsors of the school are the United, Anglican, Presbyterian and Roman Catholic churches in the Ottawa area and the School is financially independent of its sponsors.
The lecturers are drawn from Ottawa’s universities, clergy of various backgrounds, and other knowledgeable educators and individuals who give courses on theology, spirituality, philosophy, Bible studies, ethics, social justice issues, the arts and religion, and more.

The Presbyterian College

Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church – Charleston, South Carolina
On behalf of the Council of Elders and the Congregation of Parkdale United Church, Rev. Dr. A. Bailey sent a letter of condolences and support to the congregation of Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina. Click here to read the letter
CBC OTTAWA MORNING GUEST HOST
On Friday, March 15th, Rev. Anthony Bailey was guest host on CBC Radio. Robyn Bresnahan, the regular host, assisted in morning worship at Parkdale the previous Sunday.
Robyn Bresnahan, host of CBC Radio’s Ottawa Morning participated in our service on Sunday, March 10th. She was accompanied by two of her colleagues: Denise Fung and Joanne Steventon. Robyn spent a day in Anthony’s shoes as “Reverend”, taking part in the baptism and reading Scripture. She recorded parts of the service. In return, she let Anthony spend a morning in her hosting chair at Ottawa Morning (91.5 FM) on Friday, March 15 between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. where he hosted the final hour of the show.

Support Parkdale United Church
Givings can be made directly through your bank account or Credit Card using Pre-Authorized Remittance (PAR). PAR application forms can be printed from this website (Click here to download: PAR application form). We will fill in the lines with the church information on them (Congregational number, Church name, Church PAR contact and phone number) and you can fill in your personal details.
If you would like to increase or modify your PAR givings please send an email outlining your wishes to donations@parkdaleunitedchurch.ca
or send a note to the church office.
Should you wish to cancel your PAR donations please print, fill in, sign, and return the following form: PAR cancellation form.
