September 13 – Gracefield Camp Sunday. If you aren’t able to attend Gracefield Camp, don’t worry. Worship will happen onsite and online at our usual time of 10:30 am. There might even be a special piece from Gracefield.

SMART AGING

Sept. 14^th to Nov. 9^th 2026 – 1 to 3 pm

Parkdale United Church hosts Smart Aging, a series of eight weekly, interactive workshops covering key topics facing seniors today. Designed to provide information you need, before you need it, to make smart decisions at key transition points in your life. Cost is $69.00. September 20 – Join us as we continue our Season of Creation theme with special guest preacher Rev. Dr. Teresa Ann Burnett-Cole, Coordinating Minister with Glebe-St. James United Church. (Our Rev. Dr. Bob Fillier will be with our siblings at Glebe-St. Jeams) It’s also the start of our Sunday School Year. Make sure to register.

Wednesday, September 23 – Three Days Later

 On Sundays, we develop a theme in worship grounded in scripture and engaged through a sermon, music, prayer, silence, and contemplation, yet have you ever wanted to talk about it? Join Rev. Bob on Wednesdays from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. for conversations that delve a little deeper into the theme from Sunday in the Upper Room. You can also join the group virtually from home or the office. September 27 – Orange Shirt Sunday. We are all invited to wear something orange or an orange shirt from an Indigenous vendor to mark Orange Shirt Day 2026 on September 30. As part of our worship, we will pause to remember and reflect on why every child matters and needs to be remembered.

October 4 – World-Wide Communion Sunday and the conclusion of our Season of Creation focus. Moving In Spirit will present an embodied telling of scripture and Mervin Sol H. Toquero, Deputy General Secretary National Council of Churches in the Philippines will be our special guest preacher.
