SPRING RUMMAGE SALE – APRIL 27, 2024

Our Spring Rummage Sale is booked – from 9am to noon on Saturday, April 27, 2024!  Please check your closets and cupboards as you do your spring cleaning and consider donating those things you no longer wear or use to this worthy community cause.

Contributions must be dropped off at the church prior to Thursday, April 25, 2024.   If you need help with pick up, please contact Jo-Anne in the office at 613-728-8656.

Anti-Fraud Seminar   

“Internet and Password Safety”  

The Pastoral Care Team have invited Tom Cheel from the OPP/RCMP to present another presentation, this time on “Internet and Password Safety”.  It is approximately 60 minutes in length, plus ½ hour for questions. BETTY DOES “THE ISLAND WALK – PEI” – For “IN FROM THE COLD”

Betty Hope Gittens is embarking on her 2nd Long Distance Walk. This time it is “THE ISLAND WALK – PEI”. Starting walk Sunday, May 12. Ending walk Friday, June 14, 2024. She is undertaking this walk to raise awareness and funds for the In From The Cold Supper Hospitality Program (IFTC) feeding initiative of our church.  You can support this initiative by making a donation to IFTC referencing Betty’s Walk. Donations can be made online at https://www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/81017  Cheques are also welcomed. Please make cheques payable to Parkdale United Church and specify “In From The Cold” on the memo line. Your donations will be directed to the IFTC program at Parkdale United Church. All donations are tax deductible.
