Communications and Media Manager
Rebecca Fillier has joined the Parkdale staff as our Communications and Media Manager, effective the week of June 29, 2026 . Rebecca will lead, support and collaborate with all those who serve at Parkdale to help us communicate and connect better with each other and the community. Here are a few words of greeting from Rebecca:
“Hi, I’m Rebecca. Some of you may not know that I’m a preacher’s kid, and this is my tenth United Church home. I’ve always been actively involved in church life, serving in roles such as Presbytery Secretary, attending two General Councils as a commissioner, and participating in more church meetings than I can count.
I’m passionate about the ways the church can use digital media to share its faith through graphic design, websites, social media, and livestreaming. One of my greatest passions is lighting design and being part of production teams, where we have the opportunity to guide people through emotional journeys and quite literally paint with light.”
