Faith Formation and Fellowship Ministry
Parkdale’s Faith Formation and Fellowship Ministry encourages and supports learning programs and fellowship groups for people of all ages in order to help all persons in the congregation to know God’s love as it is revealed in Jesus Christ, to grow in their understanding of the Christian faith, and to be involved in the Mission of the Church.

College and Career Bible Study
If you are in college, university or starting out in your career, please come join us.
Tuesday Morning Bible Study
Each week we are engaged by one or more scripture passages, or a particular book in the Bible. Assisted by God’s Spirit, we are discovering some of the inspiring, messy and surprising blessings that are forthcoming in Scripture when we welcome the freedom of God that is found in the texts. Intrigued? Come and join us.

Book Study and Reflection on White Fragility and Systemic Racism
During the fall of 2020, Rev. Dr. Anthony Bailey, Rev. Alcris Limongi and a member of Parkdale, Judy Hamley, led a congregational book study and reflection focused on white fragility and systemic racism.

ignite!
This is a group of young adults who meet once a month for study and dinner. They are ages 18 plus and welcome young adults from all walks of life. Whether at college, university, working or doing something else, Ignite welcomes you to join.

Fellowship – Adults
Parkdale Men’s Group
The Parkdale Men’s Group provides an opportunity for fellowship, discussion, and Christian enrichment among the men of the congregation. We also seek to serve the broader congregation and community in whatever ways are available to us. The Men’s Group held its first meeting in October 2017. For more information, contact the church office.
Book Club
Everyone welcome—come join us after church as we discuss the book that has been chosen for that month. We meet in the Ladies’ Parlour after the church service (bring a lunch) for approximately 1 ½ hours. Hope to see you there!

Images and Stories
On the last Friday of the month, from September to November and January to March, we meet in the Parlour at 7:00pm on via Zoom for a presentation about someone’s travels. So far, we have seen Australia, China, Scandinavia, India and many other exciting countries. You are welcome to join us for these causal, fun, informative evenings.
Faith Formation and Christian Education – Children, Youth, and Young Families
Children’s spiritual development is as crucial to their health and happiness as their physical, mental, and emotional growth. At Parkdale, your child can find church-friends who share and develop their values together, adding breadth, balance, and depth to their experiences at school and in the community.
Parkdale offers a Nursery for infants and toddlers through to age 4, Sunday school classes for children aged 4 years old through grade 5, and Faith Formation Youth Groups for grades 6-12. (Read More)
Fellowship – Children, Youth, Families
We believe that we are called to live and love God together, supporting one another in faith and discipleship, regardless of age differences. At certain points in the year, we have intergenerational worship and fellowship opportunities so our whole family of faith can celebrate God’s presence among us together!
